There is discussed an extensive period of Georgian archaeological
material in this book – Starting from the 6th – 4th millennia B.C., Ending
to the 2nd century A.D. The work gradually presents images of artefacts,
Which, among other meanings, contain choreographic information:

collective layout of dance performance, There is a couple dancing…
The book is designated for the students of Georgian choreography
history, For dancers, choreographers and choreologists, art critics and
folklorists, For persons interested in choreographic art and engaged in
creative activities.


The book was prepared on the scientific basis of Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film Georgia State University, According to Aleko Gelashvili’s
doctoral thesis “Georgian Dance in Iconographic System of Archaeological
Monuments”.
