In 2013, Annual Gala Concert and Awards Ceremony was established by the founders of the Georgian Chanting Foundation. The aim of event was to support artists representing the field of Georgian traditional culture.
In 2013-2017, the Georgian Chanting Foundation awarded more than 40 artists and ensembles for their special contribution to the promotion of traditional Georgian culture – folk songs, chants, folk dances, visual and applied arts.
The winners were awarded in various nominations with special prize of the Foundation – a stone statue, a diploma and a cash prize.
